Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND)

Every child is unique and an individual. Every child learns differently and has their own needs. Our team of teachers are extremely experienced when it comes to teaching children with special educational needs and disabilities. We will ensure your child feels nurtured and is able to achieve to the best of their ability.

As the parent of a child with SEND attending a Brighton & Hove school, Rachel fully understands the journey you are on and some of the challenges that may arise along the way. Our tutors have extensive experience teaching:

And many other forms of SEND

Rachel at Tutor Room Ltd has been a lifesaver for us after we unexpectedly found ourselves in a situation where our son was no longer able to attend school. He is an academically bright child but struggles with anxiety, a busy school environment and was recently identified as neurodivergent. Rachel was able to secure fabulous teachers for us – and at speed, who understand SEN and how to get the best from our son. They have been great at rebuilding his confidence. Highly recommend for anyone in a similar position.

Tutor Room offers an outstanding service. I explained my son’s needs to Rachel, and she found him Emily, an exceptional English tutor. My son has ADHD and was really struggling in class. He went from a Grade 2 in his English Literature mocks to a Grade 6 in his final exams…in just 3 months! Unbelievable! We were so impressed with Emily that we asked her to carry on tutoring my younger son, who is dyslexic and autistic… again, we have been blown away by the positive impact she has had on his learning.
