Hi! My name is Sinead and I have been a primary school teacher for 8 years. During my time working in schools, I worked across Key Stage 1 and 2. Whilst working with the children in my classes, I completed my Masters in Education focussing on the link between children’s self-esteem and academic achievement. I believe that my role as a teacher is to develop a child’s confidence in their learning and ensure that they are happy and enjoy the lessons. This will in turn lead to academic progress.
Earlier this year, I decided to leave the classroom and currently tutor online. I work with children from 4, focussing on early reading and phonics, up to preparing for SATs in Year 6 and making the transition into secondary school.
I spend most of my free time at soft play centres with my little girl or walking my crazy dog!
