Hi, I’m Laura; I have been a secondary English teacher for the past 9 years and have had the privilege of leading an English department for the last four. I am passionate about bringing Literature to life and enjoy exploring a wide range of texts and their contexts – from poetry to more modern novels. I have worked with learners of all abilities, including those with SEND, and have experience teaching students in an alternative provision setting.
Creating a supportive, engaging environment where every student feels seen and challenged is at the heart of my teaching. Tutoring gives me the opportunity to tailor my approach to every individual, building strong relationships and supporting students in a way that works best for them.
