I’ve been a tutor in Cheshire for over 15 years. I now live on my own after my daughter recently flew the nest. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy cycling, walking and reading. I’m also a big tennis fan and love watching the sport whenever I can.

I have taught across all three sciences, with a particular specialism in Biology and Chemistry. I believe every student can succeed with the right support, so my lessons focus on building confidence as well as understanding. I create a relaxed, friendly environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their skills at their own pace.

I like to think I’m kind and approachable, and that I have a good sense of humour, which helps students feel at ease and enjoy learning. I’m passionate about lifelong learning and am currently undertaking a Master’s degree in Education to continue developing my knowledge and teaching practice. My experience includes classroom teaching, university outreach programmes and one-to-one tutoring, giving me a broad understanding of how students learn and how best to support them in reaching their potential.
