Vicki is a qualified primary school teacher and has over 20 years’ experience of working in schools in a range of roles at both primary and secondary levels. She has been a class teacher as well as a Senco delivering support in small groups and 1:1 to pupils with special education needs.

She is a qualified teacher and assessor of dyslexia and dyscalculia and works 1:1 with students needing specialist programmes of support. She undertook the training over the past 5 years and has worked with a number of children supporting their individual needs by tailoring the programmes to build on strengths and address challenges.

She recently worked as an Advisory Teacher for a large Local Authority consulting with school and parents on a range of SEND difficulties linked to learning and behaviour. Over the 7 years in post she undertook considerable training in ADHD, attachment and trauma, Autism and sensory issues and she understands the impact these can have on both engaging with learning and making progress. She therefore take a highly informed, holistic approach to working with children in order to help them reach their potential.
