Hi my name is Olivia and I am one of Tutor Room’s student teachers. I recently achieved A*s in Maths, English language and literature, and Film studies A-levels, as well as an A in Further Maths A-level. I have had a deep love for Maths throughout school, even being selected for a 2-year masterclass programme with Dr Simon Singh. I have also participated in lots of English extensions, such as being an editor for an international youth magazine. I have been tutoring since I was 15 (though originally in the arts, switching to academic tutoring in 2025) and now I am dedicated to helping children of all ages within Maths and English! I will now be studying Mathematics at Durham University (which ranks 5th in the country overall) and will tutor online. I was also taught by Rachel when I was in year 4 at Hove Junior School all those years ago!!
